Partner projects
Although the Conference of Education Ministers could not agree to press ahead with FörMig as a common project, it has proceeded in a number of ways since the Model Programme was completed in 2009, specifically:
- Transfer projects were devised in each of the participating states to ensure the continuation and further development of expert knowledge already attained.
- Due to a generous donation from the state of Hamburg, a research liaison centre was established at the University of Hamburg. This laid the basis for further inter-state initiatives as FörMig continues to develop.
The FörMig Centre of Expertise counts among its partners the Federal Association of Regional Employment, the Senate Office for Education, Science and Research in Berlin, the School and Vocational Training Authority of Hamburg, the Ministry of Culture in Lower Saxony, and the Ministry of Culture in Saxony. FörMig offers advice and academic supervision to its partner projects in the transfer from the Model Programme and gives support to specific state projects.
